I’m a traveler, adventurer, and life enthusiast. I truly believe there is so much to life and so much joy to be had! From one of my favorite quotes, “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” Our lives, built up of small moments, influence who we are and who we will be.
My husband is a pilot with the regional airlines. He started flying when he was 8 years old… talk about passion! Flying is his absolute passion and he did everything possible to make his dreams become a reality. It took hard work, long hours, and faith to get him where he is today. We are head over heals in love with each other and enjoy traveling together at every given opportunity.
We are Utah natives who have fallen in love with the east coast. After living in the hustle and bustle of New York City we moved to a quiet, country town in North Carolina. Unlike most travel bloggers, I didn’t quit my finance job and travel the world with everything being rainbows and butterflies. I didn’t find that feasible and nor do most the travelers I’m hoping to help and inspire. Instead, I decided to merge my passion for travel and writing with my passion for real estate and financial growth. Now, I get to live the best of both worlds. I have the opportunity to work for a great company in investment real estate and travel on last minute adventures when my husband’s schedule allows. I hope to be able to help you do the same.
When we first started traveling non-rev and taking off on last minute trips it was exhausting! I was looking over countless blogs, listening to tons of podcasts, and doing loads of research just hours before departure (sometimes as we were boarding our flight). It was stressful planning last minute trips with no accommodation, rental cars, or anything planned in advance. My passenger princess was mostly excited to look out the window so the planning was 100% on me 😉 Vacations would become bitter sweet because of the amount of hours I would spend planning for something that went by so quickly. After several trips abroad, I seemed to get the whole traveling thing down to a science but still wished there were sites available to give me “last minute” advice that covered all my needs in one location. I saw an opportunity, and decided to take it!
So here I am, The Non Rev Roamer, enjoying spontaneity, finding joy in the unplanned, and helping you enjoy your last minute ventures to the very fullest. It’s my goal to provide you with all the information, guides, and tips to avoid a stressful, unplanned adventure. I hope these small moments will give you lifelong memories, lasting happiness, and your very best self!
Happy traveling!!
